Though many people are aware that smoking is harmful, but very few of them are fully aware of the extent of that danger. In this connection quantitative risk assessment deserves attention, if this data is available in your country.
In particular significance are those assessments that show how harmful and dangerous smoking is, comparing with other causes of mortality and morbidity. Only a few of the other stereotypes of behavior or risk factors that can be prevented, are the cause of death as many people as tobacco.
Smoking leads to the development of three major fatal diseases: lung cancer, chronic bronchitis and emphysema, coronary heart disease. On the example of several countries where smoking has become long-standing habit of mass, it has been proved that tobacco is the cause of death from lung cancer in 90% of all cases of bronchitis and emphysema in 75% and from heart disease in approximately 25% of all cases. Approximately 25% of regular cigarette smokers will die prematurely because of smoking.
Many of these, could survive for 10, 20 or 30 years longer, that is in this case, the average loss of years of life is substantial. Deaths due to smoking, on average, lose 10-15 years of your life.
In one European country (population about 50 million people), the number of deaths due to smoking is equivalent to the number of fatalities resulting from aircraft jet liners Large capacity, if we assume that such catastrophes - with death of all people on board - will take place daily.
To give the example of some photos, if you value your health, do not hesitate, lead a healthy lifestyle.
