Water Fuel proved illusory

Fuel “Blue Energy” has been tested by researchers of the State Technology Agency. Scientists have concluded that its chemical components do not differ from the components of the diesel oil, which is delivered by the State oil company “Pertamina”.

Suprarto presented his invention for the first time at the International Conference on climate change in Bali, which took place in December 2007. Suprarto said that he was able to part hydrogen from oxygen in water by electrolysis and then converting them into synthetic fuel.

Many researchers considered Suprarto charlatan, but the project “Blue Energy” aroused the interest of President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and received his support.

Soon after the presentation of the project Suprarto disappeared. Last month he was found in one of the hospitals in the province of East Java, where his sick heart was treated.

In response to criticism of investigators after the results of testing of alternative fuels, the president of Indonesia said that he is not a scientist.
